Joint Summer School - Living Ocean Lab

The IMBRSea Joint Summer School is an annual event that unites students and teachers to collaborate on specialised research topics at an established European marine research station. It focuses on both developing scientific knowledge and on creating a beneficial integrative experience for students and teachers alike.

The IMBRSea joint school takes place in summer (July-August), after the first year of the programme, at the Sven Lovén Centre for Marine Sciences in Tjärnö (Sweden), over a period of 10 days

During the joint summer school students work in small groups, conducting research on specific themes. Students gain valuable research and transferable skills, with each group preparing the following items:

Experimental design and research

Data analysis

Report

Presentation
